Hi Everybody!

This week is our fourth week back on the road since break, and I cannot believe how fast time flies. We are in Ramseur, NC this week at Faith Christian School as well as the church. How that works is today (Sunday) we had a morning service as well as an afternoon concert at the church, Monday - Friday we will be having morning and afternoon chapels with the kids and teens at the school. Wednesday-Friday we are also having services at the church in the evenings as well as going to a prison on Monday night. So, this week is looking to be jam-packed with stretching experiences but it is looking very promising! Two of the girls and I are staying in an apartment that the church owns that is right across the parking lot, so it definitely comes in handy if we forget something! 

As a recap on last week, we were in Burlington, NC at Carolina Christian Church. There were a lot of  surprises last week with the weather and what not, Monday afternoon it started snowing and we found out the evening service was cancelled. Tuesday we were told to only come into the church in the morning if we could drive safely or if our host families wanted to bring us in, so I spent the morning studying at my host home until we heard that the evening service that night was also cancelled due to icy roads. So...more studying! Wednesday morning again we were told that classes were cancelled and that it would be study time in the morning if we could make it to the church. Finally, the normal schedule resumed Wednesday afternoon and continued for the most part until Friday night. That evening we got to go to a pizza version of subway (sweet, I know) with our host families, the youth of the church, and other church members! Throughout the week the time of arrival at the church for Saturday had changed a couple of times, so the last time it was changed-Korissa and I didn't get the text so we ended up coming to the church two hours before everyone else was supposed to come. Two of the other girls were there already so we started tearing down equipment and cleaning the church and were almost completely done by the time everyone else showed up! We got to this next church with no problems and expectations for a great week!! Please pray as this might be a draining week for everyone but very rewarding if we make sure our hearts are prepared and right with God.
