Hello everyone!
It's hard to believe that this is the end of week 5 of training camp. We have one week left before we're on the road! Tomorrow morning we are ministering at Calvary church in Harrisburg, PA and will be working with the kids and singing in the morning service. Now we have learned around 22 songs total and will know at least 25 before leaving the camp.  This week we learned 3 Christmas songs for our Christmas concert in December, as well as the girls and guys each learning 1 song individually, each group singing all of the parts. Believe it or not...us sopranoes learned how to sing a little bit of tenor! :) Last night we had girls and guys nights...each group hung out, watched a movie and had dinner together. Needless to say...we had tons of fun together. This week we also took our team pictures for the year which you will hopefully get to see on the website soon! (www.encounterrevival.org)
We started off the week with only 1 partial team outfit and ended it with 4 almost-complete outfits! We should have 5-6 complete team outfits by the next time I write a post! The past two weels we have been focusing on prayer each night for team devotions. All the way from the ministry, to personal needs, to Africa...we prayed for it. It has been a great reminder of the importance of prayer and how much we are dependant on God. Along with learning the importance of prayer I have also been learning the importance of loving others unconditionally. To remind myself daily that when I mess up, I still want to be treated with love...and therefore to treat others that same way. Instead of criticizing people for mistakes I need to realize that we all fail daily and minutely (if that's a word), and that God still loves me even with all my failures so why shouldn't I do the same for others? Well after taking a break from writing this and making our weekly trip into town I found out that we are performing a drama in the church tomorrow. The drama I am in. So....needless to say I'm freaking out a little bit. I'm the only one in my group that doesn't talk loud enough and the only one that talks too fast. But you know what. It's gonna be ok...even if I'm not an actress and dramas aren't my "thing," because tonight I'm going to work my tail off to get this volume and speed thing down.

Well last night I thought that this blog posted....but apparently not! So now I can tell you how the drama went! During warm ups at the church this morning I was freaking out and got told by both Ardy and Jean (Ardy's wife) that I needed to be louder. So the time comes for us to go on stage for the drama and I'm sitting in my chair on stage with my legs literally trembling. I was scared out of my mind and I can't explain why. Anyways to shorten this story... I wound up saying my lines loud enough and slower than I have been known to although not quite as slow as I should. But...praise The Lord! Alright this time I am actually going to post this blog :) Thank you all for your prayers and support! See you at Christmas!
